Triquetra or Trinity Celtic Symbol

This Triquetra or Trinity Celtic Knotwork Symbol dates back some 3000 years or so. There have been many meanings for this symbol throughout the ages. It is thought by some, the original thought was representing a Celtic Goddess. The three points of the Triquetra are Mind, Body and Spirit, which is one's soul. Many other interpretations such as the "Holy Trinity" adopted by the Catholic Church around 700 AD, or so. Another meaning of the Triquetra adopted by the Wiccans represents the three phases of a woman's life, Maiden, Mother and Crone (granny). This is one powerful symbol for all.

This pendant is about the size of a US quarter and is crafted of solid sterling silver.

It is presented nicely on a sterling silver box chain or thin rope chain. It's also lovely on a black or brown leather cord.

This item makes a fantastic addition to any jewelry collection and a great gift. To order one, click on the title at the top of this posting or visit http://www.MyCelticTreasures.com .

Please "comment" with other interpretations as you know them.
