Celtic Symbol - Triskele - Celtic Goddess - My Celtic Treasures

The Triskele is thought to be one of the earliest Celtic Symbols. The Triskele was discovered in stone carvings in Ireland which date back some 3000 years or so. It is believed the original meaning of the Triskele represents a Celtic Goddess, the "Mother Goddess of the Celts". The Mother Goddess is the guardian of the hearth, the land and plenty.

For the Druids, it is the Three-fold Sister Goddess: Folta, Eiru, Banba.

For the Wiccan, it is the Three-fold Mother Goddess: Maiden, Mother, Crone.

The Triskele in the picture is a solid Sterling Silver Pendant about the size of a 50 cent piece. It is very shiny and looks fantastic. Only to be worn by a Celtic Goddess, herself.
